Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets (skin on or off)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
For the honey mustard sauce:
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
---
Instructions:
1. Prepare the sauce:
In a small bowl, mix Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Set aside.
2. Season the salmon:
Pat the salmon dry with paper towels.
Brush both sides with olive oil.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
3. Preheat the grill:
Heat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
Oil the grates lightly to prevent sticking.
4. Grill the salmon:
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down (if skin is on) on the grill.
Grill for about 4–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
5. Add the sauce:
In the last minute of grilling, brush the top of each fillet with the honey mustard sauce.
Alternatively, serve the sauce on the side.
6. Serve hot, optionally with rice, salad, or grilled vegetables.
