Banana Pudding Recipe

 Ingredients:


1 package of instant vanilla pudding mix (about 3.4 oz or 96g)


2 cups cold milk


1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk


1 teaspoon vanilla extract


1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed


4–5 ripe bananas, sliced


1 box of vanilla wafers (like Nilla Wafers)



Instructions:


1. Make the pudding:

In a large bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken.



2. Add sweetness:

Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until fully combined.



3. Fold in whipped topping:

Gently fold in half of the whipped topping until the mixture is smooth and creamy.



4. Layer the dessert:

In a large glass dish or trifle bowl, start with a layer of vanilla wafers, followed by a layer of banana slices, then a layer of pudding mixture. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with pudding on top.



5. Top it off:

Spread the remaining whipped topping on top. You can crush a few vanilla wafers and sprinkle them on for decoration.



6. Chill:

Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to let the flavors come together.
